Student Perspectives of web based vs on-site graduate nursing infrormatics programs
New blog: I found an article that addresses the advantages and disadvantages of online vs on-site graduate nursing informatics programs. I found the article interesting. I personally find that in-person dialog is better for me but can see how some may find the on-line experience better for them. What are your thoughts from this article. The article information is:

I think that learning style has a tremendous impact on the perspective of the student. Time is another issue as well. There are some course I find are just fine to take online and there are others where I feel the live interaction between students and instructors is more beneficial. For me it is the content and objectives of the course which help me determine my preference for online vs on-site.
I agree with Laina---it is determinate on the learning style of the student as well as the content being covered. There are several classes that I believe interaction with other students is necessary. I notice that the Gen Y students tend to prefer the online classes. This is an interesting topic to ponder since the UTA Informatics Class will also be offered online in the future.
